We used to live in Groton a few years back and we made koto our weekly date night! I highly recommend making a reservation for their hibachi tables as it's their most popular thing but they do offer regular tables where you can order hibachi straight from the kitchen. Our favorite roll is the angel hair roll and is always something we order whenever we're in the area!!

Amazing hibachi! Scorpion bowls are sooo tasty! Separate hibachi area as well as a bar area and secluded regular restaurant booth style seating. Staff are funny and friendly and love to see customers have a good time! Amazing sushi as well!

The ambiance was nice. The food was excellent and the service was cool. While in town visiting a friend we chose to eat here. We enjoyed the hibachi experience. The dressing on the salad was on point. I asked for more to pour over my food after I started raving to the chef about. The place was empty because we happened to go early in the day. I'd recommend this place.

Decent food and friendly staff, I think food quality and quantity could be improved a little bit. Still a great place to stop by if you are in the area. Wait times are great, and easy parking.

My first time here after my husband recommend it. He was last here 10 years ago and he said it was just as good as he remembers. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. I don't think I've ever had such an attentive server, so refreshing. The atmosphere was cozy with some traditional Japanese vibes. Highly recommend this one if you're hanging around Groton looking for excellent sushi and hibachi!

We had a great experience. It's a fun environment and chef's are really talented. Adults and kids alike had a blast!

Another takeout order as we were in the area. Online ordering was easy, paid up front so all I would have to do was pick it up. Scheduled the pickup time around when I would be in the area. Food was packed nicely but one of the tops was loose so some sauce spilled out. And noticed their Chef still users too much sauce (Soup) in the teriyaki steak. And I had mentioned this before, it would be nice if they go back to the divided containers instead of putting everything into one container. The miso soup was a little too salty for me. Vegetables in the steak were a little under seasoned. And we were a little disappointed in the Chirashi Don as the rice was more regular rice and not as much as sushi vinegar sweet rice. But I guess we cannot complain as overall the food was good.

I stopped in for lunch and decided to get a few appetizers and green tea. I ordered gyoza's, mango tuna wrap and Hawaiian salmon. All were delicious. Delightfully full. Took an hour to eat it all but I was able to. Restaurants with Small plates make my day!!! Yummy!! Reviews are centric to Bariatric or gastric bypass patrons that are not able to eat a lot. Amazingly quiet for lunch.

My go-to for to-go dinner at home! Food is consistent and almost always ready on time. Online ordering works well. I recommend the hibachi dinner with noodles!

Overall 4/5 Stars! This is my 2nd time coming to Koto and my first time was a better experience than the second. FOOD * The first time I went, I ordered the Spicy Calamari and the Steak & Chicken Hibachi! - The Spicy Calamari was 1000% my favorite. It was definitely spicy and was quite crispy, but not too heavy before my meal. I did ask for the spicy mayo on the side for this one :) - The Steak & Chicken Hibachi was VERY stomach-filling. I asked for my steak medium-well, and they executed it very well! The fried rice wasn't too salty nor was it too oily so I was very pleased with my meal. * The second time I went, I got the Beef Negimaki and the Steak and Salmon Hibachi - The Beef Negimaki was scallion wrapped in Beef and in teriyaki sauce. the Beef was so yummy and the scallion was perfectly paired, but I would say there's a little too much Teriyaki sauce that it overpowered the app. - The Steak & Salmon Hibachi gets the same feedback as my first time around! They definitely mastered their Hibachi! * Both times, the soup and salad were amazing & the greens tasted fresh! SERVICE * Our first time, our waitress was SO nice and honestly the reason for the 4 stars! She was upbeat, excited, helpful, and kind throughout the whole night and I really appreciated that! * Our second time around, our waitress unfortunately was quite short with our group and seemed to rush us throughout the entire meal :/ LOCATION * Is pretty nooked to the side, but there's plenty of parking, but it does get really busy on a Friday night! Come check this place out, I promise you won't regret it!
